How it Works

There are 3 parts of our Findlay Launch Program:

1) Growing Into a Storefront Course:

All Residents must be in or have completed our ‘Growing into a Storefront’ course. This is a nine-week program that brings local business owners and food industry experts together with CFFM team members to share best practices and real-world experiences. Course topics include operations, financial management, accessing capital, branding, marketing, commercial leases, and more. 


2) Resident Selection:

Businesses are selected once they have completed the Growing into a Storefront course, have submitted their concept and determined to be a good fit for one of the storefronts, and demonstrated an ability to meet financial and operational demands. 


3) Residency:

Storefront residencies begin once current residencies end and storefronts are vacant. Residents will operate their own business for a minimum of 12 months. They will be supported by a robust customer base, ongoing industry education, real-time experience and expertise from the Findlay Launch team and external experts.
